Dr. Ceren Küpeli (Counsel), is a leading cybercrime and digital forensics lawyer with deep expertise in information technology law, cybersecurity compliance, and online harms regulation. Recognised as Turkey’s first legal scholar with a doctorate in cybercriminology, she has been serving as a lecturer in IT Law for over seven years within a national cybersecurity academic program.

She is an Europol-accredited cybercrime expert and a certified Whitehat Hacker, having contributed to state-level cybersecurity efforts, including legal advisory work for NATO on countering cyberterrorism. Dr. Küpeli frequently delivers expert opinions and serves as an expert witness in high-stakes litigation involving digital evidence, cyber defamation, and technology-related reputational attacks.

Her consultancy experience includes leading regulatory compliance projects aligned with GDPR, NIST, and PCI DSS, particularly for companies operating in critical infrastructure, finance, and digital services. She is also actively involved in media commentary and public engagement on cyber victimisation and digital rights issues in Türkiye and internationally.
